About

The Production Automation Technician program provides students with a thorough understanding of the theory and operation of industrial plant and manufacturing systems. Students gain the skills necessary to become successful in an advanced manufacturing position. Production Automation Technology is a high skill, high wage, and high demand occupation. These technicians are responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining the electronic equipment in manufacturing environments such as PLC’s, Robotics, and Human Machine Interface Trainers. Students enrolled in this program of study will attain a College of Applied Technology diploma and certification from Allen Bradley Controls and FANUC Robotics.
